There is affordable housing located at Adams Trailer Park on Rt. 1 in Rye. You may be able to ask landlords if they will accept section 8, its worth a try. Another option is a winter rental, these houses are much cheaper but you have to move out at the end of the winter. Otherwise Rye really isn't a great place to find a rental deal.
