Known as Seattle’s most interactive neighborhood, Lower Queen Anne is an excellent dog-walking area. Several bars and coffee shops allow dogs, and there are plenty of apartment accommodating that. The Bernard, Archstone Elliott Bay, and Expo apartment complexes allow dogs of all sizes, as do several private listings. My Apartment Map’s advanced options provide modifiers to search for your specific pet needs. Last time I searched for small dogs and cats only, I found around twenty listings.

Queen Anne’s ideal location, right next to the popular Seattle Center, had made it a great spot for restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of all sorts. There are around 60 nightlife venues in Queen Anne, of all different types. As far as dance clubs, Stompy’s and the Transcendent Church of Bass are the hotspots. For a more relaxing lounge, residents prefer The Sitting Room and Sully’s. Sport Restaurant and Bar and Nickerson Street Saloon get packed during game days, and The Vera Project and Marion Oliver McCaw Hall draw crowds for local music. 2 am is the end of the bar night in Queen Anne, but some close at various earlier hours, so it’s a good idea to call ahead.
