Linda Vista is Spanish for “beautiful view”. This relates to the many open space resources Linda Vista is comprised of, possibly the most in the city of San Diego. This is one of the aspects that make Linda Vista a great neighborhood for pets. In the advanced options section on My Apartment Map, there are modifiers for large and small dogs and cats. Last time I applied those to my search, I found three complexes allowing large dogs, seven accepting smaller dogs, and around ten accepting cats only. All pet owners should be able to find a place for both themselves and their furry friends in Linda Vista.
Nightlife

There is not an abundance of nightlife in Linda Vista; there are around five hot spots that get busy until 2am on the weekends. Mr.Peabody’s is the most popular, although as it stays open until only midnight, it sometimes serves as a starting point. Brick By Brick is a local music venue, providing A-list entertainment to people from all over the San Diego area regularly. The Griffin has live music from time to time, as well as karaoke, and a dj the rest of the time; it is a popular spot for dancing. Morena Club is similar, sort of a local dive good for letting loose on the dance floor. Padre Gold is a local hang out, better for an after work beer. There is plenty of nightlife in surrounding neighborhoods, but if you’re not in the mood for venturing out, one of these should do just fine.
