Why Midtown is A Great Place to Buy or Rent
I've done a great deal of work in Midtown for a simple reason: people love to be in the center of the everything and Midtown is just that. It's where office buildings are clustered and, of course, you have the greatest shopping in the world regardless of your budget. The best part about ...View Guide

Midtown Manhattan is the busiest single commercial district in the United States, and the the largest central business district in New York. Times Square, Grand Central Station, Madison Square Garden, Statue of Liberty, and many more money-making NYC sites reside in this two square mile area in the heart of the city. Many of the city’s tallest buildings, most upscale stores, restaurants, and hotels, as well as many arts venues are located in Midtown, accounting for more than 700,000 jobs. There are more than 40 major American company headquarters, and around 5 foreign company headquarters in Midtown, including the NY Institute of Finance. Surprisingly, rental costs are not among the highest in Manhattan, probably because it is not a very residential area.

When people refer to New York as “the city that never sleeps”, they most likely have Midtown Manhattan in the forefront of their mind. This neighborhood is home to some of the country’s best shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. Some are entertainment simply for being landmarks, such as the Empire State Building and St.Patrick’s Cathedral. Others are among the most noted entertainment: approximately 60 museums including the Museum of Modern Art, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum; more than 50 music venues including Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, and The Tank; more than 300 art galleries including the International Center of Photography, Astro Gallery of Gems, and The James. The list goes on, there is more to do in Midtown than any neighborhood in the country.
