Apartment Costs
Evelyn Troy - Real Estate Agent
When compared to seven surrounding New Orleans neighborhoods, French Quarter proved to be among the top three most expensive. Although the Central Business District and Marigny were slightly more expensive, those less expensive were around $1,000 less expensive monthly, considering a two bedroom apartment. On average, a studio apartment in the French Quarter costs around $950 monthly. One bedroom apartments rent for around $1,400 monthly, two-bedrooms for $1,900, and three bedroom apartments exceed $2,000 per month. Considering this is a very popular tourist neighborhood and full of business, these higher rates are expected.
