Local Guide - Real Estate Agent
Cedar Riverside is officially part of the city’s University community, which is named after the fact that it’s home to the University of Minnesota’s campus. Cedar houses more of the campus than any other neighborhood in University, and is also home to the private liberal arts Augsburg College and a St. Catherine’s University campus. The large student population brings their culture and innovation to the area, making Cedar Riverside a very hip and vibrant community. There are trendy restaurants, music venues, cafes, and other cultural sites that are popping up all over the area. When these students graduate and enter the professional workforce, many of them stay put, so the younger demographic is constantly growing here.
