Demographics

MyApartmentMap Neighborhood Expert - Property Manager

Downtown Miami is one of the most urban areas in the entire country. There are 71,000 people that live here year-round, and 200,000 overall. This makes it the most populous downtown in the entire country after New York City and Chicago. It’s also one of the fastest growing downtown areas because of the high amount of construction projects that have occurred here recently. So, with that said, I couldn’t imagine a better time to move here. There are five or so districts within the downtown community; you should research which part of town you want to live in before you look at the listings. If you need help don’t hesitate to shoot me a message.

If you’re looking for a job in Miami, downtown is probably the place you would look. It’s the city’s center for finances, culture, commercial businesses; you name it. It’s definitely the most rapidly growing part of the city in terms of construction. There are a lot of office buildings that have just recently been built, which has led to the creation of jobs in the area. It’s safe to say that the city’s economy revolves around downtown, which is home to major companies, schools, banks, shops, and more. And if you decide to rent in downtown, you could move in down the block from where you work.
