I’ve been noticing that a lot of my clients who want to settle in LoDo are much younger than they used to be; it’s definitely become a great area for young professionals. And because of this, the nightlife in LoDo is thriving. There are lounges, nightclubs, bars and pubs, and great restaurants. On any given Friday or Saturday the neighborhood’s streets are overflowing with people looking for a great time. I mentioned that young professionals have been migrating to the area, but even the older crowds are finding great spots to spend their weekends. LoDo’s nightlife is the epitome of the excitement that allures people to city life, and will continue to grow as Denver does too.

The Lower District is probably the most historic area of Denver, as it preserves artifacts and buildings from other periods like the Gold Rush and the Industrial Era. There are walking tours of the neighborhood that are held for visitors every day. As for locals, they enjoy the district’s restaurants and shopping, and convenient access to Denver’s Union Station. They’re also able to experience Downtown Denver’s offerings, from nightlife to concerts to sporting events. For those who want to get involved in the community, LoDo Cares is a volunteer organization that focuses on improving the neighborhood with beautification projects, supporting assisted living centers, and more. LoDo has a very urban and centralized location in Denver, but still maintains a great sense of community.
