Five Points is less than a mile from downtown Denver, so some residents who either go there for work or for a night out on the weekend choose to walk. But in the winter this is an unpleasant and potentially hazardous option, so residents tend to use a car or take public transportation. There’s a light rail station located in Five Points off of 25th Street; it’s part of the D Line and can take residents to many spots of the city, but most notably the 18th and Stout Station, which is in Downtown. There are also two buses, 30 and 38, that serve nearby.

Five Points is one of the most renter friendly spots in Denver, and right now there are dozens of listings on this website. This neighborhood is diverse, both in terms of population and housing. Walking down the streets here, you will luxury lofts and new apartment buildings mixed with classic Victorian-style homes. The diverse population is evident when you look at the demographics, especially historically. This used to be a African-American majority neighborhood, but has since become White majority, although there is still a sizable African-American population, and a large group of Latinos. The diversity, great public transit options, unique architecture, and close proximity to downtown make this a great neighborhood to rent in.
