If you want to make sure your children go to a great local school, or are just settling down and plan to have a family in the future, you're going to want to learn about the zoning in this neighborhood. The west part of the neighborhood attends the City Park Elementary School, the Billy Earl Dade Middle School, and Madison High School. But kids in the eastern part of the district have a whole different path through schooling: the Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary School first, then the Alex W. Spence Middle School, and finally the North Dallas High School. I don't want to say anything negative about any of these schools, but I would highly recommend doing research into each school, and use that research to determine which zoning area you would like to be in.

The Main Street District is the backbone to the downtown Dallas area. It strings together the business, financial, and entertainment districts of the city. Because of this, many of the city's professionals who work in the business district live here, and it's a quick commute to the office. In fact, I know quite a few people (both past clients and friends) in this area who are able to walk to work every day. If only all of us were that lucky! You just might be if you live here and have a job nearby. If you don't, this is still a great neighborhood for commuters because it provides close access to all the city's major roads that you will need to take every day to get to your job.
