The Price Hill area often gets knocked for having high crime, and admittedly there are some pockets in the neighborhood where I wouldn’t want to be late at night. But the Incline District in East Price Hill is a part of town that’s being revitalized, as are many other parts of EPH. Columns A and B are spotty when it comes to crime though, I would recommend breaking down your research block by block and seeing where most crimes occur, and find a way to avoid those streets. There isn’t any community in Cincinnati that is totally immune from crime, and East Price HIll. But with its beautiful historic homes, close proximity to downtown, and a dedicated community council, there are more pros than cons in EPH.

West 6th Street, which runs alongside the Ohio River, connects East Price Hill to downtown Cincinnati. Overall, the commute is only four miles, or about a ten minute drive at best. At worst, when traffic is heaviest, it can take a half hour. But still, the accessibility to Downtown (and the view of its skyline from some EPH rentals) is a major benefit to living here. Two buses, 32 and 33, which are run by the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA), transport carless residents to Downtown, and are very convenient.
