Many people look for a home in Boise because the cost of housing here is substantially cheaper than most American cities. If you’re coming here from the East or West coasts, you’ll be shocked by the price tags. The North End has become a trendy part of town over the past few years, and rental prices have risen a bit, but they’re still noticeably lower than other cities. It’s very realistic to find a two bedroom rental for less than $750, and a three bedroom for less than $1,200, which real estate agents in other cities would say is ludicrous. And if you’re looking for a one bedroom, it’ll be in the $500 range. So, for example, if you began looking in Boise with a $800 budget for a one bedroom, you’ll be able to shop on the higher end for this type of rental. Take a look at the listings for Boise on this site and you will see what I mean with the low pricing.

There are eleven parks in the North End that are kept beautiful and in tip top shape by the city. These consist of neighborhood parks like Memorial Park, sports fields like Sunset Park, historical parks like the Veteran’s Memorial Park, nature parks like the Bernadine Quinn Park, or other unique facilities like the Skate Park. I’d say that because of these parks, the North End has the best recreation in all of Boise. And, best of all, it’s very close to Downtown, so if you’re not the type of person who likes to spend time in the neighborhood’s parks, you can go to any of the bars, restaurants, theaters, etc. in Downtown.
