Midtown Neighborhood Summary

When one thinks of “upscale Atlanta,” one immediately thinks of Midtown. This community is perfect for those who enjoy the arts at the high end. There is the High Museum of Art, the Woodruff Arts Center, Fox Theatre, and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Its close proximity to Downtown makes it a popular destination and living space for young professionals. However, the fun is not exclusively reserved for this group. This neighborhood encompasses the Georgia Institute of Technology, meaning there are a few pockets that are more geared towards the college crowd. No matter what your age or background, you can enjoy the many award-winning restaurants, bars, and shops. There is also the gorgeous 189-acre Piedmont Park, ideal for catching a breath of fresh air or walking your pooch.
