Salem is a small city in Massachusetts. The city is home to roughly 41,000 people. However, the present day town is a scenic Massachusetts town that newcomers speak very highly of.

Although the history of the area has cast it in a certain negative light, the legends of Salem have also created a thriving tourist industry for the small city. Salem State University is also found here. This is a four-year university that has more than 9000 students all told, including undergraduate and graduates both full and part-time. The University also employs more than 750 individuals.
