Why is your apartment so dirty?

I was so focused on work and other activities that I never cleaned my apartment. I'd started purchasing blank video tapes like they were blank paper, so I didn't have to worry about figuring out what to erase, and the tapes filled up the entire livingroom. In the corner of my livingroom picture you can see the top of a 2 foot tall stereo speaker just peaking out past the strata of videotapes (dig deeper and get tapes from several years ago).
