I am completely new to LA and my work is in Kilroy airport way. I am looking for a safe/good/professional/college crowd/ preferably avoiding 405 (as I heard it gets too jammed on weekdays). I have a car so driving for up to 30 mins one way should not be a problem. Through google, I have figured out the best/safest places to be around Belmont Shore, Seal Beach, Cypress, Cerritos, Artesia, Westminster.

Any idea where else I should be looking? IS driving on I405 really that bad? My office times are 8-4 pm. I don't like street parking.

Also, I don't see many studios listed out for rent. Any preferable places for Studio style apartments. Please let me know your comments.

    Thank you.

I can't help you much in the way of personal information about LA, but I can give you some listings for studio apartments.... or I could... but I'm confused!

You've posted this in the Long Beach, CA question area, and Long Beach is a solid 25 miles from Los Angeles.

Let me know where exactly you're looking for an apartment, and your budget, and then I can help you out to the best of my ability!
