My boyfriend and I wish to rent an apartment near UNR while we go to school. If we get a one bedroom apartment for (let's just say) $550 a month do we split that rant so we each pay $225. Or does $550 mean per person? I'm a little lost at this since this will be my first apartment. Any help would be great.
When you see a price tag on an apartment (in this case, $550), that is the listing price for the property, not per person. So if you're splitting it with your boyfriend, both of you would pay $225. Or, if you split it with four other people, you would each pay $110. Either way, the monthly cost reflects the apartment.
Can you please further explain what you mean when you say the monthly cost reflects the apartment.? Do you mean that monthly costs would be $225 each but with the addition of maybe water bills and electric bills?
