Waubonsee Community College

WCC has one cafeteria, with the usual college-kid cafeteria options. Students are somewhat satisfied with the food here. The nearest fast food places are about 10 minutes away by car, along with King Wok, Rosati’s Pizza, and further down, Fireside Grille, and Genoa Pizza. The Open Range Southwest Grill is another option, but for more variety many drive to Aurora. The Sugar Grove Family Fun Center is the place where families take their kids on a nice day, but for the rest of the population, Sugar Grove doesn’t have much to offer. The Air Classic’s Aviation Museum is pretty boring. Chicago is about an hour away, but if you want to stay local, Waubonsee Community College has events from time to time, and getting involved in organizations and clubs is the best way to stay busy. Music and comedy shows take place in Aurora at the Paramount Arts Centre, which is about a 15-minute car ride from Sugar Grove. The Premium Outlets in Aurora have some really high-end stores but parking there can be a disaster. Aurora has a zoo and skating rink, too.

Methodology

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
