Living near the Amtrak Station in Greenville. Can I walk from Wachovia Place on East Washington to the Amtrak Station? The apartments at Wachovia Place are exactly what I am interested in, but before contacting them, I need to see if I can walk from there to the train every day?
It's about a 2 mile walk one-way, which is very reasonable especially if you love the apartments. I would contact the landlord as soon as possible so that you get the apartment you want and to make sure that nobody else rents before you. This is a great place to live and I lived in the area. The amtrak is very east and affordable, especially if you are commuting. Good choice.
