I am a first time renter and have a few questions about apartment searching. Do most apartments offer free heat and water? Do tenants have to pay for electricity and internet? What about renters insurance, most people don't have that but i don't know if I should get it. And last, when I'm looking at a apartment how do I tell if everything's working and I won't have a problem with leaks?
