Want to Live in Flushing, but not near the Open. Having been to Flushing for the US Open, I know it can get LOUD! I love this area, but I am not sure if I could deal with the crowds and commotion, even if it just for a few weeks every year. Anyone from Flushing have some suggestions for streets I should check out? How about where to avoid by all costs?
You'll want to stay away from the USTA National Tennis Center. Some people even leave during it, great time to take a vacation. I live on 39th Av and it's not too bad.
