Air conditioning is manatory. I'm from the east coast so living in this torturous heat will be a challenge. What types of central air devices can i get for my apartment and how expensive will it get year-round, do they charge the tenants or is it usually included in the rent?
If the apartment has central air it should be included in your electricity bill, which can either be set at a fixed rate or based on how much you use, so if you use your central air a lot, then the bill might be high. However, I know it's worth it and the heat shouldn't bother you.
