Do people live or vacation in Carson City? I would live to get out of LV, but stay in Nevada. Carson City is nice, but being almost 7 hours away, I can't just up and drive their to explore it. I imagine it's a lot slower paced than LV, correct? Do people raise families here? I basically need a town that's "normal"
Carson City is a place to raise families! 63% of the homes are owned, and out of 55,274 people, 13,252 of them were families. It has a relatively low crime rate, plenty of community recreation activities and things to do. There are a few casinos, but as you guessed, much slower paced; nothing like Las Vegas. It seems like the perfect way to transition into normal in Nevada.
