Normal wear and tear, idiot landlady. Just had a talk with my landlady, told it I am giving my notice and will be leaving in a month. She brought up some nonsense about me painting and fixing carpet. Isn't this stuff considered normal wear and tear? I mean I haven't trashed the place to any extent and I think she is trying to get one by me?

I'm slightly confused about your question. If you are asking about the damages, I would read the contract and see what it says about damages.
