Renting a home vs renting an apartment in NH. I am looking at both. A home, size wise, suits me best. By home, I mean a house. My concern is upkeep. One place I looked at said I would be responsible for yard work, snow removal, etc. Is it worth it?
Are you handy? Do you mind doing maintenance here and there? If the answer is yes, than by all means renting a home might be for you. If these are things you answered no to, an apartment might be better suited.
I would stay away from rental homes that require you to take care of snow removal. Sometimes we get a lot of snow here in NH. Renting an apartment might be a better option for you.
