Still deciding whether to live in Merrimack or Manchester. Merrimack is more of a quiet residential area and the apartments are in good shape but i work in Manchester and want to be close to the bar scene.
There are places to drink in Merrimack. I would rent where you feel most comfortable. We are talking an 18 minute drive, so you wouldn't be terribly far away. Good luck.
