Renting in Wendell, but need to travel to Raleigh. Is this an issue? I work in Raleigh, but with the prices on apartments, I can't afford to live there. I have roots in Wendell, I know Raleigh is not terribly far. Is their traffic? How is the morning and afternoon rush hour commutes? Sorry for rambling.
The commute takes about 40 minutes, but will probably take you about an hour during rush hour commutes. Obviously this will vary, problem from around an hour to 1.5 hours, but you never know. It's definitely hit or miss with the traffic--depends on accidents and whatnot. I'd suggest moving a little closer.
