Oh boy, here goes nothing. I am taking a job in Dorchester, MA and b/c of transportation issues, I will have to also live here. I need some suggestions regarding streets in Dorchester that I can feel somewhat safe on. I am familiar enough with Dorchester to know that some sections/streets can be a little sketchy in terms of illegal activity. What can you tell me before I rent an apartment here?
There are some decent places in Dorchester. What happens though: these nicer places tend to be staggered by not so nice places. From experience, Port Norfolk is a decent area, I have some family that live there.
