It seems that the apartments are really expensive in Honolulu. It also seems like you don't get a very big pad for the cost! Can someone also tell me if the cost of living is really high, like food and stuff. Thanks
Groceries shopping is more affordable than you think; to name a few: there are Safeways, Samsclubs, Costco, China Town, Don Quijote (Asian super market). For gas the average price is $3.95 / gal. You save a lot less for clothing though as it is warm climate all year round in Oahu, no need to spend for sweaters, coats / jackets.
