Looking for a cheap apartment on the beach. Is this possible? I really want to live on the ocean, hear the waves crashing at night. It has been a dream of mine to rent an apartment overlooking the ocean. Anyone have any ideas? I can only afford 675 a month.

The chance of you finding an apartment that is right on the water with that budget is nearly impossible. You MAY be able to find something that is within a few miles of the beach on that budget, but that is even questionable. I would find something as close as possible to the beach and then buy yourself one of those soundmakers at Walmart. Here's one that my brother used when he moved from the beach to Wyoming to domesticate wild birds (I know... weird): http://www.walmart.com/ip/HoMedics-SoundSpa-Por... Anyways, if you increase your budget you might get lucky, but this machine should do the trick. You're close enough to the beach that you will still feel like you are actually living on the water.
