Is Renters Insurance Required? Landlord Says "Yes". He said I need to get renters insurance and show documentation before next month or I am out! This is the first time I have heard this. Isn't this a decision I should make on my own and not be forced into? It's just another cost I cannot afford right now. HELP!
If I were you I would move because he can most likely force you to get the insurance, but if you can't afford it than you're going to need to move. Either way you better make your decision soon!
