Have you given Carmel Riverside a call? http://www.myapartmentmap.com/property/1952984/ I use to live there and I had a small dog. I think the rent was around $800 a month. I don't know if they have furnished units, but I think it's worth asking. I really liked living there the gym was really nice. I know they have a few different lease options, I lived there for 6 months.
