Alarm System in My Manhattan Beach rental. Hello, I am looking into installing an alarm system at my beach rental for when it is unoccupied. Some towns require a permit or for the resident to notify one of the cities depts. What's the deal with Manhattan Beach?
All you have to do is get a permit and pay a small fee and it's really easy. Here's the link with all of the information: http://www.ci.manhattan-beach.ca.us/Index.aspx?... I just installed one a few years ago in my apartment and the small fee is worth not having all of your stuff stolen. I'm looking to upgrade to a large apartment in the area and will be installing an alarm system there as well. I think it's a little strange that you have to have a permit to protect your own stuff, but there's nothing we can do about it.
