Phoenix, AZ for seniors? I've heard that Phoenix has a large retirement community in its population. Could someone tell me which community is best for retirees looking to socialize and be active?
Foothill Acres and Citrus Acres both have three retirement homes each and are very active communities for retirees. However, if you are located in the senior home/facility then it really doesn't matter in which part you live in because almost everything is within the home. Good luck with your search--you will be happy no matter what facility or area you end up in.
