Apartments Near Campus - Property Manager
I can’t imagine anything more difficult than being a student at Drexel and eating at the dining hall knowing that Philadelphia culinary standouts like Kaffa Crossing, Tria, Vernick, Gia Pronto, and Matyson are within walking distance. However, in University City, college students are more likely to swing by the numerous food stands and food trucks in the area like Cucina Zapata, Pitruco Pizza, Kung Fu Hoagies, and La Dominique. There are perfect examples of cheap yet delicious, quick-serve spots that college students love. With such a prime location in Philadelphia, Drexel students can either eat at a stand like Kung Fu Hoagies or a fancy sit-down restaurant like Matyson.
Public Transportation
Apartments Near Campus - Property Manager
Drexel’s students are within walking distance of subway stations, trolley stations, light rail stations, and an Amtrak station. To say that they have access to public transportation is an understatement. The only possible reason I can think of a student needing a car is if they live outside of the city and commute to Philadelphia every day (which I don’t think is worth it). If you’re an on-campus student, you will be able to use public transit to get anywhere you need to be. If you live off-campus, then most likely you’re living in another part of the city that has one of the many facets of public transportation you can take to Drexel.
