At CMU, they offer on-campus housing where rates run from $4362 for a double room per year, to $6892 for a “Grand Mesa Super Single Suite” per year. Keep in mind if you’re staying on campus you must pay for your housing in full by the first day of class - no monthly rent payments. So if staying on campus isn’t for you, there are plenty of apartments in the area. Average rent is around $650 a month, much lower than the state average at $800. Be sure to inquire about apartments as soon as you know you’re going to be going to CMU, apartments around campus fill up fast.

There are amazing sights to see in Grand Junction, CO home of Colorado Mesa University. The Colorado National Monument is an amazing. Great wildlife, hikes, and even camping if that’s what you’re into. They have a very interesting Dinosaur Museum with life-size robotic dinosaurs that makes for a very thrilling yet educational experience. Another gem of Grand Junction is the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens located at 641 Struthers Ave, not only do they have countless plants but even have a live butterfly room where you can view the twittering wings of those colorful insects.
