CSU Northridge students who love Asian food will love the campus’s location, and if they don’t like it then they’ll learn to in their four years here. There’s Thai, Chinese, Japanese (delicious sushi bars!), Vietnamese, and Korean, all within a block or two from campus. Most of these restaurants serve affordable, quick meals and will deliver them to your dorm or apartment. There are also the usual chain restaurants like Papa John’s, Panda Express, and Johnny Rockets nearby.
Nightlife

Hollywood, with its late nights and bright lights, is an easy 20 minute drive from CSUN’s campus on the freeway. Northridge doesn’t have any nightclubs or places to dance on the weekend, so students often have to drive to Hollywood or other parts of LA. Like any other school, there are frat parties that get shut down around midnight and dorm parties that end even earlier. The local nightlife isn’t very thrilling for a student, to be honest, and a lot of people go to LA, Santa Barbara, or home on the weekends instead.
