Greenwich Village ApartmentsGuidesFree Stuff to Do in Greenwich Village
Greenwich Village is famous as being the home of many a starving artist. There have been many movies, plays, etc. that have paid homage to this former (and present) artist's enclave. But let's say you don't have the means or the desire to trek all the way uptown to see works of the masters. Here's an idea: visit the Martin Lawrence Galleries located on Broadway between Prince Street & Houston Street. The gallery displays works of art from Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and many more noted artists. And guess what: IT's FREE! Unless of course you want to hake one of the pieces home. Then you'll need to be prepared to shell out a small fortune.
