Nightlife:
For a relatively small city, Port Arthur offers a wide variety of nightlife with places to hangout with friends, grab drinks, watch a game, or shoot some pool. Dylan’s Bar and Grill has several bands each week, a full menu, and a full drink menu. Crazy 8’s is the local billiards bar and is a perfect place to go with friends and shoot some pool and enjoy a beer. Capri Club and Max Bowl are the two other hotspots in the area and are great for dancing.

Recreation:
Port Arthur is a popular location for boating, fishing, bird watching, golfing, and hunting. There are two marinas in Port Arthur, offering places to launch your boat or rent a boat to take out for a day of fishing. Bird tours along the coast offer a chance to see some of the native and migratory bird species that live along the coast, but other animals such as alligators are a common site on these tours. The city also has three golf courses which offer courses for any level player and residents or nonresidents. Lastly, if you are a hunter there are a number of fields and tours available.
