Arlington has a very high number of renters in the city: 40% of properties here are renter occupied units. This is 10% higher than the national and state averages. This is partly because there are college students in the area, but also because residents are realizing the benefits of renting. There are thousands of apartments here -- pet friendly places, one/two/three bedrooms, section 8 -- that will suit whatever you desire, and they make the city very renter friendly.

There are countless activities and places to enjoy yourself here in Arlington. The city is home to the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers’ stadiums, so during NFL seasons you can go to 8 games, and for MLB seasons, 81 games (unless they make it to the playoffs, which they usually do!). Or, you can watch the game or just enjoy a drink at one of Arlington’s many excellent pubs and bars. If you want to experience live music, check out Louie Louie’s Dueling Piano Bar, or the Levitt Pavillion, which has free spring and summer concert series. Fun fact: the original Six Flags theme park is located in Arlington.
