Restaurants
Greater NY Apartments & Condos Management - Property Manager
No one would argue that New York City has some of the best restaurants in the entire world. Just look at any of the worldwide rankings for best foodie cities in the world and NYC will be sitting near the top on all of them. Staten Island is a large part why. There are so many great restaurants in this borough that I don’t even know where to begin. A lot of my clients ask me where they can find the best pizza in the city, and two of the best options are in Staten Island: Denino’s Pizzeria Tavern and Lee’s Tavern. Both of those places specialize in pizza and are amazing. Staten Island is also, in my opinion, the best borough for Italian food (after all, 44% of residents here have an Italian heritage). Nino’s, Trattoria Romana, and Vola are three great places that will become go-to restaurants if you settle down in Staten Island.
Recreation

Before you hop on the ferry to get to the other parts of the city on the weekend, check out what’s going on in Staten Island first. If you want to go out with the family, the Staten Island Zoo is one of the best in the area. Or, see if there’s a show at the St. George Theatre, which hosts virtually any type of event you could imagine. However, Staten Island’s speciality is definitely its museums. There are around 15, and each of them are interesting in their own ways. The Staten Island Museum, the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, the Alice Austen House Museum, and the Staten Island Children’s Museum are all great places you should check out at least once. And if none of these activities that I mentioned grab your interest, New York City is just miles away.
