Nightlife
Tanya Zachko - Real Estate Agent
There isn’t much in the way of nightlife in Maplewood, but there is some. If you do need a night out there though, St. James’ gate Publick House is the place to go. It is an Irish Pub, very relaxed, full bar, live music, and open until 2am. O'Reilly's is comparable and also open until 2, but it is frequented more often for delicious and inventive food than for late night fun. The Coda Kitchen & Bar is open until midnight on weekends, making it a good place for cocktails after work or to start the night a bit more upscale, perhaps before heading to a nearby city. The Blu Door Cigar Lounge is a membership-based lounge, open to non-members regularly, but not for every occasion. Luckily, Maplewood is just 15 minutes from Newark, 30 minutes from New York City, and closer than either of those to other cities with great selections.
