I-78 runs through the southeast corner, providing east and west entrance at exit 54, while the Garden State Parkway provides north and south access at exits 143 and 144. Irvington employs many taxi companies, the two most accessible being Red Top Taxi and Irvington Cab. New Jersey Transit’s Irvington Bus Terminal provides local service as well as service to Newark and Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.
