When clients ask me why they should rent in Greensboro, I can never give a straight answer. Not because I don’t have any compelling reasons -- it’s actually the opposite. There are so many great aspects of renting in Greenboro, and I just don’t know where to begin. There are terrific schools, a growing arts and sports scene, and best of all, very low apartment costs. The rental market currently has a huge selection, and you can get them for great prices. The average two bedroom is only $683, and $565 for one. If you look on MyApartmentMap you will see that there are properties on the market for even less than that. You owe it to yourself to at least research the great rental market here.

One of Greensboro’s greatest aspects is its culture. The Cultural Showcase highlights everything that the city has to offer, with a handful of art galleries, an outdoor amphitheater, and 20+ visual/performing arts organizations. For other venues, the Carolina Theatre and City Arts are great places to see a show. For sports, there is an annual PGA event in Greensboro, and the NCAA’s ACC tournament is often held here. The city also is home to minor league teams that have a loyal local following.
