The Town of Brookline has The Green Dog Program in order to accommodate for owners and their dogs and provide off-leash times at the local parks. There are currently 14 parks that allow for off-leash dog time, but only at the designated times for the given park. Eight of the parks only offer off-leash time from dawn to 9:00 am, three from dawn to 1:00 pm, and three from dawn to 1:00 pm during March through November and dawn to dusk from December to February. There are also a number of pet stores in Brookline and apartments that allow cats, small dogs, and large dogs, making Brookline a perfect place for you and your pet to rent.
