Some clients have to know one thing before they even look at a property: do they allow pets? Thankfully, Fort Myers has a large market for pet owners. There are a number of rentals available now that accept cats and/or dogs. You can even view them on My Apartment Map if you go their homepage and click on Pet Friendly Apartments. Some of the complexes that allow them are: Seville Apartments, ParkCrest at the Lakes, Salamanca Pointe, The Lakes at College Pointe, and the Palms of Monterrey. The list goes on, feel free to browse and see which complex would be best suited for you and your pet.

If you look at the rental listings for Fort Myers on this site, you will be greeted with dozens of available apartments. The 2010 census reported that 10,489 properties in Fort Myers were owned, and 10,257 were rented. That’s how strong the rental market is; there is very little separating the two. I believe that a few years from now, the rentals will even overtake the owned properties.
