Although Stanton does not have Section 8 Housing, the city is dedicated to providing qualified residents with affordable housing. Currently, there are four developments in the city that provide affordable housing, providing over 700 units. About half of these units are part of the Park Station Senior Apartment Complex, but the rest are available to anyone. The developments are all privately owned and are rented as any other normal apartment, therefore there is no application process or waitlist. For apartments that are not part of the affordable housing program, the average rent is about $100 less than that of surrounding cities. With over 50% of properties occupied by renters, finding an apartment in Stanton should not be a problem.
Recreation

The City of Stanton provides a number of recreational programs for children, adults, and seniors, providing affordable activities for all residents. From sports, arts, and senior excursion there is an activity for any resident. Stanton also has seven parks, a sports complex, and a tennis center. The majority of the parks have playground equipment and picnic areas, with a few parks solely providing acres of beautiful green space. The sports complex features a soccer field and three softball fields and the tennis complex houses six full size tennis courts.
