The City Council of Simi Valley sponsors various events throughout the year. There are holiday celebrations, such as the Holiday Craft/Gift Bazaar, Halloween Carnival, and Arbor Day’s “Live Green” Celebration. They also have celebrations exclusive to the city, such as the annual Block Party Night Out and Cajun Festival. The city also holds informative and helpful events for residents, such as a youth job and career exploration fair, heroin prevention meetings, and homeless assistance events.
