Santee offers a number of parks and facilities for its residents, including an enormous sports complex, a large community park, a golf course, and numerous other facilities. Sportsplex USA is a 15 acre facility with three softball fields, four batting cages, two soccer fields, and a restaurant. Santee Boulders is a natural rock climbing location that offers residents a unique rock climbing experience for beginner and expert climbers and Carlton Oaks Golf Course is an excellent golf course that is perfect for experienced golfers. The most unique attraction is the 10-week series of free concerts that the city hosts every summer. The concert series features a number of local and outside bands and attracts people from all over the San Diego area.
