Transportation options in Placentia have a very bright future. The Orange County Transit Authority is helping Placentia build a metrolink station downtown that will begin in 2013, which will connect the city to other major rail lines. This will make commuting much easier for residents, and because more people will take public transit now, there will be less drivers and less traffic. There will also be more housing built near the station so renters such as yourself can have an easy walk to the station every morning. Placentia’s recent crime stats show that it is twice as safe as the national average in both violent crimes and property crimes. The rate of residents who are involved in violent crimes every year is just two per one thousand (or one per 595 residents), and for property crimes, only 16 out of every thousand. Most, if not all, of the communities in Placentia are friendly, and are kept safe by caring Placentians. The area is very family friendly too.
